Introducing Vol 2. is a 12 track compilation album highlighting the best of our label from 2019. Hopefully it will inspire you to further explore Mouth of Gold Records.

Mouth of Gold Records had a busy 2019 with albums and EPs released by most of our roster - Incredible Self Confidence, Tom Loffill, SLABS, LJA Brown and MULE. In addition we saw a label collaboration culminating in the 4 track Cinque Ports EP.

FEATURED ARTISTS:

Tom Loffill:
A DIY, post punk troubadour with songs crafted to a diamond tip. Raw and passionately delivered.

LJA Brown:
A songsmith of the highest caliber. Music delicately crafted with vivid poetic lyrics.

MULE:
Future-retro fables set among ominous ambient soundscapes. Sci-fi soundtracks without a home.

SLABS:
Abstract imagery, odd time signatures and deep dirty grooves collide with swirling synths and fuzz bass. ‘Space Jazz’.

Incredible Self Confidence:
A 70’s rock aesthetic knitted into beautifully direct and rye songs. Includes intricately layered harmonies and warm fuzzed tones.

Cinque Ports:
A Mouth of Gold super-group (of sorts) with influences ranging from Southern rock to 80’s funk. A delightful and surprising beast.
