Originally recorded direct to tape in 1995, here is a collection of traditional folk songs showcasing the talents of Jacqui Walker and a dear friend of Mouth of Gold Records - Richard Bridge.

Jacqui had made a name for herself in the folk revival of the 60's with her distinctive voice and finger style guitar. Richard was a later bloomer moving from blues bands to folk traditionalist later in life. Jacqui and Richard formed a relationship that lasted 20 years until Jacquis death.

Richard has recently been diagnosed with terminal cancer and wished to make an album before he died. We have further music recorded and ready to release from him but felt this tape served as a great entry point.

Converted from cassette and lovingly restored. It carries all the hiss and warps of a life well worn. Not all the tracks were useable but what we present here stands as a true testament to two fabulous musicians and loving friends.
